I also started this sock. It has the same lace cuff but since the colors were so busy I decided to just have a stockinette stitch. The yarn is from Sunshine Yarns. Colorway-I forget.
I think it looks a bit like a melting Watermelon Roll from Friendly's. I need to google a pretty heel design.
I like this yarn but still love the feel of Lorna's Laces the best. It is so soft and feels so nice when knitting.
I will definitely be using Sunshine Yarns again in the future!

I have only knit one pair of socks and am working on the first sock of my second pair...so here's some questions for you...
I am using "Regia" - how does that compare to other sock yarns?
When I go into a yarn store - I get totally overwhelmed - I don't know what yarn to use for what. - How do you know what is sock yarn and what is sweater yarn or hat yarn...(are you laughing at me?) ;) Help!
It's really frustrating - I have one friend who knits - but very slowly and nothing spectacular (mittens, gloves, scarves) - I have access to two yarn stores with very limited selection and not a lot of help -
So - any thoughts?

This is beauuutiful. Could I please get you to do a skirt for my wife. She loves the knitted dresses and wouuld love one of yours. You look fabulous in them.
